Yes I clean. I clean toooooooooo much some say. Some ask… ‘Hillary, why do you clean so much?’ Others say ‘but the house looked clean to me’ never mind the ants and spiders. *YUCK!* Paul says ‘Hon, you havent cleaned the downstairs today.’ *clears throat* So tomorrow while Craig is gone, I shall bake downstairs and clean downstairs and hopefully have this place in tiptop shape to surprise *even though he’s reading this right this moment* my darling husband because I want him to be happy and well cared for, never mind that I cooked a feast last night on the grill… YES ON THE GRILL!!! I know I even surprised myself… But I have been shirking my wifey duties on the homefront because its so gosh darn dark in the basement. But, IT MUST BE DONE! and once its done, I’ll probably feel like spending more time there… but until then, I wont like it, not one bit. *whisper aside* It’d be nice to be brought some pretty flowers for cleaning the house *ahem* - HIRH has spoken.

I thought last night it would be a good idea to make dinner tonight (date night) seeing as how I was “taking the day off” and what a crummy day to take off it was in the 50’s and rainy all day… plus the munchin had off school, so I spent all day with him. Now it’s time to make dinner… and it ain’t happenin! I’d rather pay $50 at the movie theater than cook right now. Ugh…. I’d better get dressed… Atleast I’ve freshly showered and I’ll look super hot for the movie… LOL! We’re off to see “Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”… maybe now he’ll stop talking about it every 3 seconds… (doubtful!). Can you believe he actually wanted to wear his pajamas and a robe to the movie theater???!?!?! Uh…ha…ha…ha… I dont think so! I told him he could bring them along and if anyone else is wearing them… he can go change. See…we can compromise… :-p I’ll post how it was later. -ME

Things are turning green! YAY! I like the nice warm rain and the smell of new growth. We went for ice cream at 3Bs tonight. Yum. I made Thai Beef Vegetable Soup with 7-Cheese Gumbo wrapped shells for dinner. It was incredible, but now my tummy is not so sure… I’m not used to eating very spicy things… but I thought it would clear my stuffed sinuses. I was wrong. We watched the second Bridgette Jones’ Diary movie last night and I was sobbing it was so good. We also rented Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon which was really really good.

Wow! My first vet visit with Ginko and Midas. It went rather well I thought. They are the best! Midas was timid, as always, and Ginko was ornery, as always, and all is well. Since the vet made a house call, they both dont seem at all traumatized, well except for Ginko yelling at the van through the window afterwards… lol. I’m sure it would have been 500 times worse if I had taken him to the vet in the car and sat in a waiting room. I’m so happy :-)! *sigh of relief* Ginko didnt scratch or bite at all *phew*… he just yelled at him when he got his shots. I can thank my mother in law for time and money well spent!

So this is my first day alone at the house after working a 40 hour weekend and what do I do? Clean… ugh! What the heck is wrong with me. Atleast I slept in, til 11. Might as well have been 6am, for all the noise everyone made getting ready. Wish I had a little bit more time alone, Craig is home at 2:30.

It’s beautiful out but still too cold to garden. The trees havent yet budded I cant wait. Paul painted our entryway cieling, so that’s nice. Still tons to do around here…

Time to make some dinner for my honey. What should I make? Wish this has been up for a while and I could do a poll…. *sigh*
Looks like Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts with Steamed Asparagus and for dessert Pear Cobbler. I’d better get started.
